The traditional Hawaiian lei was worn as an adornment of beauty and made of blossoms, leaves, nuts, or seeds. Today, the lei is a symbol of Aloha, given in celebration, gratitude, or to welcome visitors. Haku Lei are shorter lei meant to be worn on the head like a crown. These lei can either be given away or worn yourself. This lei is a rope made out of pikake, a species of jasmine that permeates a very delicate and sweet floral smell, and is widely used in lei making. Made with polyester and tied with matching ribbon bow. Designed in Hawai'i.
